Remove the start button from Taskbar-Start Killer

Start button provides us the easiest way to access everything on our computers. It also covers up a small portion of the taskbar that’s why Windows Vista,7 came up with only the Start ORB,a simple windows logo which opens up the start menu unlike a button written Start in previous version of Windows as in XP,2000,98.

Start Killer is a good application which removes the Start button from your taskbar. When you run Start Killer it remove the Start button from taskbar and give you additional space on taskbar, when you close Start Killer the Start button is again shows.Though the Start Button is removed, you can still open Start Menu using CTRL+ESC or WIN key. StartKiller place icon into system tray. Right-click on icon to close StartKiller or to open Settings dialog. You can remove icon from system tray. In this case use CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+F12 to open settings dialog box.

Start killer is not only compatible to 7,Vista,XP but also works on old Windows System(2000,9x,NT4).Requires Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater installed with integrated shell (Active Desktop) for Win 95/NT4.
