Can I download and install .net framework 3.5.1 externally which is required by some programs to run in windows 8, the problem is I'm not able to download it internally because I've a really slow connection.

235mb of download took 9 hours for me to download
so you can understand my problem of not downloading internally.Can I copy some files from win 7 partition to win 8 so that this runs or can anyone give me a direct link so that I can download with download manager and install it later.
